During Universal Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval, which runs from February 3 through April 7, Universal Orlando Resort invites visitors to “laissez les bons temps rouler” (let the good times roll).
With an extensive menu of sweet, savory, and spicy dishes inspired by New Orleans favorites and iconic Carnaval flavors from around the world, a stunning Mardi Gras parade with brand-new, intricately detailed floats inspired by elements, and, on select nights, live concerts by top musicians like DJ Khaled, Ava Max, Luis Fonsi, and more, this year’s celebrations offer a vibrant Mardi Gras party unlike any other.
Additionally, regular theme park admission to Universal Studios Florida includes access to all of the fun for visitors.
AWESOME MARDI GRAS CONCERT SCHEDULE
The incredible concert series this year will include ten live performances by some of the biggest names in music from all genres, such as five-time Latin Grammy winner Luis Fonsi, Grammy-winning artist DJ Khaled, and Ava Max, the creator of the mega-hit song “Sweet but Psycho.” Selected nights after the Mardi Gras parade, there will be performances at the Music Plaza stage, which is in front of the exhilarating Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit roller coaster. THEME FOR THE NEW ELEMENTS PARADE
The elements will come to life in six brand-new, exquisitely created parade floats inspired by Earth, wind, fire, water, the sun, and the moon for this year’s Mardi Gras parade theme. This year’s parade will feature tons of beads, lively music, and dozens of performers dressed in extravagant costumes, all in addition to Universal’s usual lineup of floats inspired by New Orleans.

During Mardi Gras, guests can indulge in the delectable tastes of Carnaval celebrations across the globe, from China to Spain and New Orleans, with a wide selection of over 60 tasting-sized dishes.
Throughout the parkwide celebration, patrons will come across kiosks serving up mouthwatering food inspired by different parts of the world. Some of the favorites are the fluffy Beignets from New Orleans and the classic Fried Green Tomato Po’boy, as well as Chicken Schnitzel from Germany, Chilaquiles Verdes from Mexico, and much more.
