Wicked fans have one day to meet Glinda and Elphaba at Universal CityWalk Orlando this month. Universal’s Oztacular Spectacular is scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2026, from noon to 7 p.m., according to its event artwork and WFTV’s report on Universal’s announcement. This is a one-day CityWalk celebration, not a new theme-park land or a multiweek attraction.
What Happens at CityWalk’s Wicked Oztacular Spectacular?
The announced lineup pairs Glinda and Elphaba meet-and-greets with stained-glass photo spots and displays of film costumes and props. A DJ will play music from both Wicked films on a yellow-brick dance floor, and trivia gives guests a chance at themed prizes. The Universal Legacy Store will carry new Wicked merchandise.
CityWalk itself is outside the theme-park gates, so you do not need a park ticket just to enter the district. Universal has not published a separate event ticket price or reservation process in the reporting available so far; merchandise, parking and other purchases may still cost money. Treat the listed hours as the event window, not a promise that each character or activity will run continuously.
How This Differs From Wicked: The Experience
Universal also has Wicked: The Experience in the Hollywood area of Universal Studios Florida. That is a separate in-park offering, included with eligible park admission, featuring film costumes, photo opportunities, merchandise and food. The October 24 Oztacular is the newly announced CityWalk event; don’t assume a visit to one includes access to the other.
The location is the practical advantage for a short Orlando visit: you can make a CityWalk stop without giving up a park-ticket day. But because the celebration has only one published date, travelers arriving after October 24 should not plan on finding its character meets or trivia still running. Universal has not announced a repeat date or a permanent Oz attraction.

Build some flexibility into the afternoon if the character meets are your main draw; Universal has not released individual appearance times.
