NBC Sports Grill & Brew at Universal CityWalk is marking the start of the NBA season with a tip-off celebration on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, from 5 to 9 p.m. Universal lists a live DJ and referee-themed stilt walkers for the evening, alongside three new dishes planned for the 2026-27 NBA season.

The Onion Hoop is the appetizer: hand-battered, fried onion rings. It is the most straightforward choice if your group wants to share one of the new items before ordering a main course.
The Slam Dunk Chicken Bacon Ranch Sammie puts grilled chicken, bacon, tomatoes, red bell peppers and onions on a pretzel hoagie roll. Ranch seasoning, house-made jalapeno queso and provolone finish the sandwich.
For dessert, PB & Jammm pairs a cake doughnut with house-made serrano-strawberry jam and peanut butter ice cream. Peanut brittle, powdered sugar and lemon zest round out the dish.
