Are you ready to let the good times roll at Universal Orlando’s Mardi Gras celebration? Starting February 3rd, the park will introduce a virtual queue system to make the parade experience even more exciting! 🎉
🎡 Virtual Queues: Not Just for Water Parks Anymore! 🎡
Virtual queues have become a familiar concept in theme parks, especially during the pandemic. While Walt Disney World has used them for popular attractions, Universal Orlando Resort has always had one for its water park, Volcano Bay. Now, Universal Studios Florida is joining the virtual queue party—at least for a limited time during Mardi Gras!
🎠 How to Join the Virtual Queue for Mardi Gras Floats 🎠
To participate in the daily parade and toss beads to fellow parkgoers, you’ll need to join the virtual queue through the Official Universal Orlando App. Keep in mind that you can only join once per day in the park. Don’t worry if you don’t get a spot, though! You can still purchase the Mardi Gras Float Ride and Dine Experience, which includes a three-course meal at various restaurants and a guaranteed spot on a float.
🎈 Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval 🎈
Six new floats are joining the parade for this year’s Mardi Gras celebration, which takes its inspiration from the Earth, wind, fire, water, the sun, and the moon elements. From February 3rd to April 7th, enjoy live concerts from popular artists and indulge in various food and drink pop-ups. Universal Orlando Passholders can also reserve a spot on a Mardi Gras float via Universal’s online reservation system.
