Po Live! will temporarily close at Universal Studios Florida starting October 3, 2026. Universal lists the DreamWorks Land experience on its park-hours and temporary-closures calendar without a reopening date. If talking with Po is a priority, October 2 is the last currently listed day to try it before the closure.
What the Po Live! Closure Means
Po Live! is the indoor, interactive show where guests speak with an animated Po and follow his kung fu lesson. Universal has not published a reason for this closure or said how long it will last. “Starting October 3” should not be read as a permanent closing announcement.
The notice names Po Live!, not all of DreamWorks Land. That distinction matters if you’re visiting with children: the rest of the land still offers ways to spend time with Shrek, Trolls and Kung Fu Panda, subject to each attraction’s daily operation. See our Universal Studios Florida guide if you’re reshuffling a park day around the closure.
Other DreamWorks Land Experiences to Consider
Universal’s DreamWorks Land attraction list includes Po’s Kung Fu Training Camp, the Trolls Trollercoaster, Shrek’s Swamp Meet and DreamWorks Imagination Celebration. The Training Camp is an outdoor play area with water features; it is not a replacement for Po Live!’s indoor audience interaction. Choose an alternative that fits your group rather than assuming the two Po experiences are interchangeable.
For a closer look at the land itself, our DreamWorks Land photo tour shows how its play areas and character spaces are laid out.
When Will Po Live! Reopen?
Universal has not listed a return date. Check its live closure calendar again shortly before your visit and look at the Universal Orlando app on the day, since schedules can change. For now, plan an October 3-or-later visit without Po Live!, while leaving room for an update if Universal posts one.
