Riders must be at least 48 inches tall, and Child Swap is available. Before boarding, large bags and loose items go into complimentary lockers inside the queue; Universal’s Epic Universe safety and accessibility guide also allows loose items to be left with a non-rider.
Monsters Unchained’s story in Dark Universe
The manor stands in Darkmoor, part of Dark Universe at Epic Universe. Its story follows Dr. Victoria Frankenstein as she tries to control Dracula. That experiment fails, setting several monsters loose; the queue establishes the setting before the ride carries guests into the trouble.
