Epic Universe recorded an estimated 4 million visits in its first partial year, placing it 13th among North American theme parks in the 2025 TEA Global Experience Index. The figures, reported by WDWNT, cover park visits rather than unique people.
Universal Orlando’s Three Theme Park Attendance Estimates
The index estimates 9.3 million visits to Universal Studios Florida and 9.2 million to Islands of Adventure, down 2.1% and 2.6% respectively from 2024. Adding Epic Universe brings the three-park total to about 22.5 million visits. Epic opened May 22, 2025, so its number covers less than a full calendar year; the totals do not show why attendance at the other parks changed.
Volcano Bay’s Place in the Water Park Rankings
Volcano Bay ranked second among North American water parks with an estimated 1.6 million visits, down 3% from 2024. These annual estimates describe a past year, not the wait times or crowd levels on a particular day. The water park is currently in a planned maintenance closure; see our Volcano Bay reopening update for the latest published schedule.
