Universal Orlando’s Bread Cone Craze Now Spans Two Parks

Universal Orlando’s bread-cone lineup is no longer confined to Epic Universe. Six versions are now spread across three restaurants in Epic Universe and Islands of Adventure, turning one popular park snack into a two-park food hunt.

The choices range from straightforward mac and cheese to pulled pork, chicken Alfredo and Buffalo chicken. That variety makes the cones more useful than a novelty photo: some work as a quick snack, while the heavier versions can stand in for a small meal.

Three Bread Cones at Epic Universe

Hooligan’s Grog & Gruel in How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk is where the trend began. The kiosk serves all three Epic Universe options:

  • Classic Mac and Cheese: mac and cheese topped with fish-shaped cheese crackers.
  • PB&J – Pork, Bacon and Jam: BBQ harissa pulled pork with peanut bacon jam and parsley.
  • Dragon’s Garden Pyre: lemon-herb chicken, fire-roasted corn, avocado spread and Flamin’ Hot Cheetos crumble.

The Classic is the safest pick for anyone who wants comfort food. PB&J leans smoky and sweet, while Dragon’s Garden Pyre has the most contrasting flavors and crunch. Our Epic Universe food guide has more options if a bread cone is only one stop on your dining plan.

Jurassic Park Gets Two Garlic Bread Cones

Inside Islands of Adventure, Pizza Predattoria takes the idea in an Italian direction. Both fillings come in toasted garlic bread instead of the mac-and-cheese-focused presentation used in Berk.

  • Meatball Marinara: all-beef meatballs, pesto-ricotta cheese and marinara sauce.
  • Chicken Alfredo: creamy penne Alfredo with grilled chicken.

These are the most familiar meal-style combinations in the lineup. They are also likely to be the messiest to carry, so Pizza Predattoria makes more sense as a deliberate food stop than something to grab just before getting in a ride queue.

Seuss Landing Adds Buffalo Chicken

Circus McGurkus Cafe Stoo-pendous serves Morris’s Mac-nificent Mac & Cheese Cone. It combines creamy cheddar cavatappi with hand-breaded Buffalo chicken nuggets and ranch sauce.

This is the only version that uses breaded chicken nuggets, and it has the clearest spicy-and-creamy profile. Circus McGurkus also offers indoor seating, which gives it a practical edge when Orlando heat or rain makes a walk-up snack less appealing. Our Islands of Adventure guide can help place the stop within a full park route.

Can You Try Every Bread Cone in One Day?

Technically, yes—but it requires admission that covers both Epic Universe and Islands of Adventure on your chosen dates. The three Islands of Adventure cones are split between Jurassic Park and Seuss Landing, while the other three are in Epic Universe.

For most visitors, trying all six alone would be excessive. Splitting cones with a group makes more sense and leaves room for other park food. If crossing parks is part of the plan, compare the access included with your ticket before relying on a same-day food crawl; our Universal Orlando ticket guide explains the main ticket choices.

Menus and availability can change, so check the Universal Orlando app on the day of your visit. Which bread cone would you try first? Let us know in the comments below; we would love to hear your pick.
