Universal Orlando’s holiday season runs November 14, 2026, through January 3, 2027. The official holiday lineup combines new decorations in Epic Universe’s SUPER NINTENDO WORLD and How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk with returning Grinchmas, the Macy’s holiday parade and Christmas in the Wizarding World across all three theme parks.
Universal Orlando holiday showtimes: start with your visit date
Universal’s calendar for November 14 lists Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s at 5:30 p.m. At Islands of Adventure, the opening-day Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular schedule is 10:15 a.m., 11:15 a.m., 12:15 p.m., 1:15 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. These are date-specific listings, not a guarantee for every day of the season; recheck the calendar and app for your visit.
The overlap matters if you want both shows in one day: the 5:30 p.m. Grinchmas performance coincides with the listed parade time in a different park. Pick an earlier Grinchmas show if you plan to travel to Universal Studios Florida for the parade, and allow time between parks.
Epic Universe adds more Christmas decorations
SUPER NINTENDO WORLD and Isle of Berk are getting new holiday decorations, with Snoggletog part of the Berk festivities. Celestial Park and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic return to the holiday lineup. The new land decorations expand the seasonal offering rather than making 2026 the first year Epic Universe has had any holiday atmosphere.
Christmas also returns to Hogsmeade at Islands of Adventure and Diagon Alley at Universal Studios Florida. Hogsmeade includes The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle, while Grinchmas brings the live show, the Grinch meet-and-greet, Whos in Seuss Landing and the Who-ville Tree Lot.
The Universal Holiday Tour is a separate reservation
The Universal Holiday Tour runs on select dates November 14 through January 2 and lasts approximately two and a half hours. Universal lists meet-and-greets with the Grinch, Max and Santa, reserved Grinchmas seating, and an optional reserved Macy’s parade viewing area. Reservations are required; theme-park admission is separate.
Passholders can save $10 on up to six tour tickets, according to the official holiday perk terms. A Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure Park-to-Park ticket is required for the same tour date. The tour is an optional guided experience; the main holiday celebration is included with eligible park admission or a valid pass.
Haus Noel brings an alpine holiday theme to CityWalk
Green & Red Coconut Club returns as Haus Noel, with an alpine-pub hearth, Christmas-market setting and old-world traditions described as ranging from merry to macabre. Passholders have a preview on Friday, November 20, from 3 to 5 p.m.; themed drinks are available for purchase. The preview window is not a season-long operating schedule.
The resort hotels also join the holiday celebration with decorations and seasonal dining. Holiday Passholder perks and lounge hours
From November 14 through January 3, the UOAP Lounge in Toon Lagoon is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Passholders can collect one free holiday button while supplies last at that lounge or the Tonight Shop at Universal Studios Florida, with the latter available from park opening to closing. A valid pass and photo ID are required for lounge entry.
The special Passholder parade viewing area in front of Mel’s Drive-In is offered Thursday through Sunday on select dates, subject to limited capacity and first-come availability. Seasonal and Power Passholders also receive a special 10% merchandise discount during the holiday period, with restrictions. Check the official terms before relying on a perk for a particular visit.
What still needs checking before your holiday visit
Use the schedule for your own date rather than copying an opening-day itinerary. Entertainment, food, merchandise and benefits can change, and a menu left online from an earlier year does not establish a new reservation window. The October announcement does not confirm a 2026 Grinch character breakfast, so an omission should not be treated as a cancellation.
