1. The Incredible Hulk Coaster reopened after a major 2016 refurbishment

2. Skull Island: Reign of Kong joined Islands of Adventure
Reign of Kong was a new Islands of Adventure attraction announced for 2016. It did not replace Kongfrontation at Universal Studios Florida on the same site. The two Kong rides belong to different parks and eras. Check Universal’s current Reign of Kong listing when planning your day.
3. Forbidden Journey remains a Hogwarts Castle highlight
Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey is in Hogsmeade at Islands of Adventure. Universal currently lists it with a 48-inch minimum height, child swap, single rider, and participating Universal Express access. 4. Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit retired in 2025

5. Epic Universe expanded the resort’s ride choices
