The Lagoon Basin has recently been finished with a dark color, but it looks like it has also been intentionally filled with water for testing purposes. Visitors can expect an interactive boat ride called Fire Drill, equipped with water cannons for some fun competition.
The main attraction in this land will be Hiccup’s Wing Gliders roller coaster, and it seems like an animatronic of Hiccup himself might be involved. A human figure has been spotted in one of the show scenes, possibly hand-cranking a lift to power the coaster. The ride will also feature impressive animatronics of Toothless, Hiccup’s trusty dragon.
Fans of How to Train Your Dragon will also recognize the familiar dragon houses scattered around the land. These will serve as retail locations and a candy store, with several of them perched on top of the main building and even featuring dragon tails sticking out.

The World featuring The Universal Monsters, called Dark Universe, is also shaping up nicely. The portal entrance has received a moody dark purple design, and scaffolding around the village area has come down to reveal broken brick walls reminiscent of classic monster movies.
The main ride, rumored to be named Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment, is still under construction but has been spotted testing. This spinning roller coaster will also feature a small show scene in the middle, supposedly with an animatronic of The Wolf Man.

In The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, the Ministry of Magic continues to take shape, with new paint being applied to the Parisian-style buildings. A fantastic Beast-inspired mural has been painted behind the circus tent-shaped entry to the live stage show, and paving of the streets and sidewalks is now underway.

At Super Nintendo World, color is finally spreading throughout the land. The iconic layers of color can be seen around Yoshi’s Adventure Ride entrance, which is located at the base of Mount Beanpole. The Yoshi-shaped ride vehicles have also been spotted, but they are still under wraps for now.
In another area of Super Nintendo World, Donkey Kong Country, new rockwork and colorful temple walls have been formed. And in Celestial Park, the rockwork lining the tracks in front of Starfall Racers has been fully formed and given a coat of paint.
But that’s not all that’s happening at Epic Universe. In a recent aerial photo taken by Bio Reconstruct and WESH 2 News, several cloud shapes can be seen in a staging lot near the theme park site. These are likely scenic elements for the upcoming Mario Kart ride.
