Circus McGurkus Cafe Stoo-pendous is Back at Universal Studios Orlando

Universal Studios Orlando is known for its thrilling rides, immersive experiences, and magical atmosphere. But for foodies, one of the major highlights of visiting this theme park is trying out the delicious treats at Circus McGurkus Cafe Stoo-pendous. After months of closure, this restaurant has finally reopened with a revamped menu that promises to delight your taste buds. In this blog post, we’ll be taking you on a culinary journey through Circus McGurkus as we try every single item on the menu and give you our honest opinion.

But before we dive into the food, let’s talk about the ambiance. The restaurant is located in Seuss Landing, which is already an enchanting place with its colorful buildings and whimsical characters. As soon as you step inside Circus McGurkus, you’ll be welcomed by friendly staff dressed in circus attire and a lively atmosphere. The decor is just as whimsical as the rest of Seuss Landing, with larger-than-life tents and vibrant colors everywhere.

Now let’s get to the main attraction – the food! The first item we tried was the Red Fish Bluefish Poké Ball. This dish is a refreshing take on traditional poké bowls with a unique blend of Blue Glass noodles, Ahi tuna, cucumber, edamame, mango, and Yuzu honey dressing. And here’s where the magic happens – when you pour the dressing on top, the noodles change color from blue to purple! It’s not just visually appealing; it’s also delicious, with a perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors.

Next up, we had the Pizza Pasta, which is essentially mac and cheese with pizza toppings – need we say more? This dish was an instant hit with us as it combined two of our favorite comfort foods – pizza and mac and cheese. And let us tell you, it did not disappoint. The creamy mac and cheese paired perfectly with the tangy tomato sauce and crispy pepperoni. It’s safe to say that we’ll be ordering this every time we visit Circus McGurkus.

Moving on to burgers, we tried the Big Top Burger, which is a circus-themed burger with a fresh beef patty, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and a special sauce on a red Brioche bun. We’ve always been fans of the burgers at Wimpy’s in the park, but this one gave it tough competition. The patty had a nice charred flavor, and the sauce was a tasty combination of mayo and ketchup. We could have easily devoured the entire burger on our own.

Now, let’s not forget about the drinks. Circus McGurkus offers two themed drinks – Sneelocks Pink Lemonade and Cat in the Hatters Tea. We tried the Sneelocks Pink Lemonade, which is made with pink lemonade and topped with little stars. It was refreshing and had just the right amount of sweetness.

To sum it up, Circus McGurkus Cafe Stoo-pendous is back and better than ever. The new menu not only offers mouthwatering food but also ties in with the theme of Seuss Landing. We were impressed by how each dish had a unique twist that made it stand out from traditional theme park food. And let’s not forget about the friendly service and lively ambiance that added to the overall experience.

If you’re planning a trip to Universal Studios Orlando, make sure to add Circus McGurkus to your list of must-try restaurants. With delicious food, fun theming, and great service, it’s an experience that you don’t want to miss out on. Plus, who can resist trying out a pink lemonade that changes color before your eyes?

What’s your go-to theme park food, and does the revamped menu at Circus McGurkus make you want to try something new on your next visit? How important is the overall ambiance and theming of a restaurant to your dining experience, and how does Circus McGurkus measure up in this regard?
